FAQ

Quick fixes for the most common Wi-Fi connection problems.

The camera cannot connect to Wi-Fi

  1. Make sure the camera is powered on properly (if the camera has an indicator light).
  2. When connecting for the first time, press and hold the camera's reset button for 8–10 seconds to reset it.
  3. An overly long Wi-Fi password, or one that includes special symbols, may prevent the app from recognizing the password correctly.

Some cameras only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

The camera disconnected while in use

  1. The camera is too far from the router, causing poor Wi-Fi reception. Bring the camera to the router, reset and re-add it, then check that the Wi-Fi signal value is stable.
  2. There is interference between the camera and the router — such as walls, glass, or other electronic devices.
  3. The camera is not powered properly. Replace the power supply and try again.
